• You are locked into Social Media Culture and trends in general.
• You are obsessed with building communities and how content travels on social media platforms. You know what it takes to have a strong Social voice, and you practice what you preach.
• You are an expert storyteller and writer who can apply that thinking to social voice and creative activations.
• You have an eye with a camera

Position Requirements:

• A track record of leading voice/social copywriting through personal and/or influential brands.
• Immersed in Instagram/TikTok culture, you should know what’s happening before others do!
• Understand the broader marketing landscape.
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and ability to offer solutions and clarity where there is ambiguity.
• Proficiency in crafting creative, inspiring stories that communicate complex concepts—simply.
• Short format Video and photography skills relevant to Instagram/TikTok.
• Strong organizational skills, must be able to work ahead on a calendar.
• Must thrive on deadlines. The thrill of meeting deadlines is crucial to your success.
• Team player is part of our culture at Innovate and one of our highest priorities.
• Work in the office and remotely with the team at the Anchorage office.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in internet marketing, journalism, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant work experience of two years or more in sales, advertising, photography, videography, copywriting or public relations may demonstrate your ability to meet the challenges of this position and the industry and will also be considered. Internships or volunteering activities in writing and social media are also accepted.

Position Details:

This is a part-time position that requires a minimum of one full work day per week.
